University of Borås

Founded in 1977, the University of Borås has about 19,500 students on a main campus in downtown Borås. It is home to the Swedish School of Textiles and the Swedish School of Library and Information Science. Research spans six areas, from Resource Recovery to Textiles and Fashion. A textile city of about 115,000, 60 km east of Gothenburg and known as Sweden's sculpture capital.
